Introduction
The team that was tasked with redesigning and rebuilding Ancestry's logged in homepage was comprised of :- 1 Product Manager
- 1 Back end Developer
- 1 Front End Developer
- 1 User Experience Designer
Qualitative Findings
After interviewing current Ancestry users we found:
- Users don’t know what they have access to.
- The current page doesn't provide a hierarchy of tasks or compelling calls to action.
- Users don’t know what to do next.
- The placement of ads on our own page is confusing.
